Der Anfang ist gemacht: In den vergangenen Monaten wurden im Waldpark Haxtergrund im Süden von Paderborn zahlreiche Bäume gepflanzt und gepflegt. Hier entsteht in den kommenden Jahren unser Campuswald. Damit die Pflanzen gut gedeihen können, ist eine stetige Pflege der Fläche und weitere Aufforstung notwendig.
Dafür ist immer unser Teamwork gefragt - gerne könnt ihr helfen und bei Pflanzaktionen einen Baum in die Erde setzten oder bei Pfelgeaktionen mit Hilfe einer Sense die Jungpflanzen von Sträuchern befreien. Neben netten Gesprächen und Zeit in der Natur kannst du auch ins Gespräch mit dem Förster kommen und Informationen über den Wald erfragen.
Vor dem Termin schicken wir dir auch nochmal eine Mail mit den letzten Infos an dich (also schau gerne einen Tag vorher nochmal in dein E-mail Postfach). Für die Pflanz- und Pflegeaktionen empfehlen wir dem wetterentsprechende Kleidung, festes, robustes Schuhwerk, was dreckig werden darf und Arbeitshandschuhe.

Mit dem Bus ist man in 5 Minuten von der Bushaltestelle Schöne Aussicht am Wald!

Our campus forest grows and thrives
The beginning has been made: Over the past few months, numerous trees have been planted and are being tended to in the Haxtergrund forest in the south of Paderborn. This is where our campus forest grows and forms in the coming years. In order for the plants to thrive, constant care of the area and further reforestation is necessary.
For this, teamwork is key! And you are welcome to lend a helping hand and put a tree into the ground during planting activities or free the young plants from bushes with the help of a scythe during maintenance activities. Besides nice conversations and time in nature you can also get into conversation with the forester and inquire information about the forest.
We will also send you an email with the latest information, so please check your email inbox the day before. For the planting and care activities, we recommend that you wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy, robust shoes that can get dirty and work gloves.
