Indiaca ist eine dynamische Mannschaftssportart aus dem Bereich der Rückschlagspiele.
Im Unterschied zu den meisten Ballsportarten kommt in der Sportart Indiaca nicht ein klassischer Ball, sondern ein großer mit der flachen Hand spielbarer Federball zum Einsatz,
welcher „die Indiaca“ (oder auch „der Indiaca-Ball“) genannt wird. Der Spielgedanke ähnelt dem des Volleyballs. So versuchen zwei durch ein Netz getrennte Mannschaften den
Indiaca-Ball so in das gegnerische Feld zu spielen, dass dieser den Boden berührt oder die gegnerische Mannschaft diesen nicht mehr regelgerecht zurückspielen kann. Die Mann-
schaften bestehen dabei aus jeweils fünf Spielern und dürfen die Indiaca maximal drei Mal in Folge spielen.
Indiaca is a dynamic team sport from the range of backstroke games.
Unlike most ball sports, Indiaca does not use a classic ball, but a large shuttlecock that can be played with the flat of the hand and is called "the Indiaca" (or "the Indiaca ball"). The idea of the game is similar to that of volleyball. Two teams separated by a net try to play the Indiaca ball into the opponent's field in such a way that it touches the ground or the opposing team cannot play it back according to the rules. The teams consist of five players each and may play the Indiaca a maximum of three times in a row.
