Ziel: Alle Segelinteressent*innen erfahren die Bootshausregeln, wichtige Informationen zur Bootsmiete und viele praktische Hinweise zur Handhabung der Catamarane (mit Trapez, ohne Gennaker). Es erfolgt eine theoretische und praktische Einweisung in die Boote und das Zubehör. Die Praxisübungen sind alle Manöver, Kurse, Kenterübung, An- und Ablegen und ggf. Trapezbedienung, welche sicher beherrscht werden müssen.
Anmerkung: Die Voraussetzung für die Segeleinweisung ist der abgeschlossene Sportbootführerschein Binnen Segeln und mehrjährige aktive Segelerfahrungen auf Catamaranen sowie ein VDWS-Grundschein Catamaran oder ähnliche Qualifikation. Diese Nachweise sind zur Ausstellung der Ausleihberechtigung Catamaran mitzubringen.
Mit der Kursanmeldung wird die Schwimmfähigkeit bestätigt. Ebenso erkennen alle Teilnehmer*innen die Bootshausordnung und die Vermietregeln des FU-Wassersportzentrums an.
Bitte Wechselbekleidung, Neoprenschuhe und Wechselbekleidung mitbringen. Es stehen nur die Toiletten und ein Umkleidezelt zur Verfügung, keine Nutzung von Duschräumen möglich. Für die Schließfächer bitte eine 1 €-Münze oder ein Vorhängeschloss mitbringen.
Aim: All those interested in sailing will learn about the boat house rules, important information about boat rental and many practical tips on handling the catamarans (with trapezoid, without gennaker). There is a theoretical and practical instruction in the boats and accessories. The practical exercises are all maneuvers, courses, kentercise, putting on and off and, if necessary, trapezoidal operation, which must be mastered safely. Note: The prerequisite for the sailing instruction is the completed sport boat licence inland sailing and several years of active sailing experience on catamarans as well as a VDWS basic licence catamaran or similar qualification. These proofs must be brought with you to issue the Catamaran rental authorization.
With the course registration the floatability is confirmed. All participants also acknowledge the boat house regulations and the rental rules of the FU Water Sports Center.
Please bring change of clothes, neoprene shoes and change of clothes. Only the toilets and a dressing tent are available, no use of shower rooms is possible. For the lockers, please bring a 1 € coin or a padlock.
